How To Use This Table
In the left-hand column find the age of the puppy in weeks.  Weigh the puppy in ounces, look to
the right of the age in weeks and take the figure nearest to the present weight of the puppy in
ounces. The expected adult weight of the puppy will be that following your finger straight down to
the figure at the bottom on the full grown line in red. This information gives you a guide as to the
estimated weight of a puppy.  Many factors determine the size of a puppy, eating habits, snacks,
type of food and exercise all contribute to your chihuahuas weight on the way to adulthood.

When buying a puppy, if you are told your Chihuahua will be very tiny or a tea cup be worried, smaller
puppies cost more. Have the breeder weigh the puppy in front of you and take out this estimated weight
chart to see if they are even in the ballpark. A breeder who does not have a scale,  gives a "promise of size
without proof" and how well do you know them anyway. Reputable breeders will have plenty of
information for you and will be well prepared in a manner "just the way they would want to buy a puppy."
