Shipping Your Puppy
Shipping Your Puppy By Airplane: I have traveled with puppies in cabin
and shipped puppies as cargo. I have found that a Healthy, Socialized puppy about 9 weeks can
be shipped by air and there will be no adverse effects on your puppy. Your Chihuahua is cared
for in a air conditioned climate just as if you were flying. When there is a flight change they are
kept in a air conditioned transfer area. They are the last to be put on the plane and the first to
get off. They are given food and water as instructed on your live animal shiping label put on the
crate and signed by me. When you pick up your puppy he or she will not know you. A kind voice
and loving touch is all your Chihuahua needs. It usually takes15 minutes or so for the puppy to
realize they are home now safe and sound. I use Continental Airlines Air Cargo
QUICKPAK
SERVICE or call 1-800-574-3335. You may track the flight on line at
http://www.continental.com/
I initially charge you $300.00 to ship a puppy. I only charge the
actual cost and the balance of any shipping fee will be sent back to you after travel has been
completed. While some puppies may experience some stress during travel watch for an
irregular stool, stumbling, staggering or falling. Please read Coccidiosis Information, Low Blood
Sugar or Hypoglycemia and how to identify all symptoms. Checking a puppy after travel and
knowing the symptoms will ensure both you and me that your Chihuahua is going to be well
taken care of. When in doubt call your Veterinarian! I ship puppies with a Health Certificate
from a License Veterinarian. They arrive in a crate with food, water and a kennel cough shot
given by the Veterinarian for traveling with other animals. Your CKC registration papers with
your puppy kit will be sent by priority US mail before your puppies travel date to avoid going
over the 10lb. weight limit and being charged $89.00 extra. Any Questions I am available
